
A delegation from Imerys Industrial Corporation (France), the foreign partner of YBB Calcium Carbonate joint Venture Company, recently met with Yen Bai provincial leaders to discuss cooperation and investment prospects.

Following the directives of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee on achieving an economic growth target of at least 8.2% and striving for 10.5% or higher under favorable conditions, Yen Bai province has developed a growth scenario and the necessary conditions to implement it.

YBO - Following directives from the Ministry of Justice and the Provincial People's Committee, Yen Bai Province has successfully completed 100% of the digitalization of civil registration data, encompassing 650,094 records of various types, ten days ahead of schedule.

YBO - To expedite land clearance and resettlement efforts for the 500kV transmission line project from Lao Cai to Vinh Yen (Vinh Phuc), the People's Committee of Yen Binh District has established a specialized Council and Task Force. These teams are responsible for conducting inspections, preparing compensation plans, and facilitating resettlement for the project.

YBO - In 2024, the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation (AIP Foundation) collaborated with the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee and sponsors to implement 5 traffic safety projects in Yen Bai Province, with a total mobilized funding of over 4.1 billion VND.

Currently, Yen Bai Province is home to 37 active foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, with a total registered capital of $420.7 million, equivalent to approximately VND 10,109 billion, from 11 countries and territories.
