
YBO - Tran Huy Tuan, Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, recently met with Duong Thinh Xuan, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and his delegation to explore investment opportunities in Yen Bai Province.

YBO - In recent years, Yen Bai Province has consistently prioritized the development of modern, green, and sustainable industrial parks and clusters with the dual aim of promoting economic growth and protecting the environment. From central government directives to localized implementation, the province has significantly invested in infrastructure to attract both domestic and foreign enterprises.
YBO - According to the Yen Bai Statistics Office, the average Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the first quarter of 2025 increased by 3.2% compared to the same period in 2024, and by 2.28% compared to the previous quarter.
YBO - Recently, Yen Bai province has implemented trade promotion programs aimed at stabilizing and developing traditional foreign markets, as well as targeting potential markets such as the European Union, the United States, Japan, and South Korea.

As of March 17, Yen Bai province has facilitated the departure of 180 workers for employment abroad, achieving 15.3% of the annual target. These workers are primarily employed in key markets such as South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Notably, ethnic minorities and individuals from impoverished households account for 54% of the total. All nine districts in the province have participated in the labor export program.

YBO - As of now, the total outstanding loans for the labor export program in Yen Bai province have reached 7 billion VND, an increase of 4.1 billion VND compared to 2023.

YBO - In line with the 2025 Yen Bai Province Project to Eradicate Temporary and Dilapidated Housing and in response to the nationwide emulation movement “joining Hands to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Housing in 2025,” the Steering Committee for Housing Support in Mu Cang Chai District has launched a plan to eliminate 771 temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025.

YBO - To date, Yen Bai province has had 13 heritages recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism as part of the national intangible cultural heritage list.

YBO - Leveraging its advantages to continuously improve the quality and quantity of specialty agricultural products into commercial goods, Yen Bai province has been timely and strongly supporting processing facilities to enhance product value and connect with consumption markets, creating a breakthrough for the sustainable development of key agricultural products in the province.

YBO - In the first two months of 2025, medical facilities in the province provided examination and treatment for 233,366 patients.

YBO - Aiming to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people, healthcare facilities in Yen Bai Province have been actively applying new and advanced techniques in diagnosis and treatment. These efforts have played a crucial role in reducing patient overload at higher-level hospitals while enabling local residents to access high-quality medical services at lower-level facilities.

Yen Bai province recently held a rally in response to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day.

YBO - In 2024, the Yen Bai Provincial Cooperative Alliance, in collaboration with the Industrial Promotion Center under the Department of Industry and Trade, provided support to four units with a total funding of VND 676 million for the purchase of machinery and equipment used in oolong tea production, veneer manufacturing, bamboo shoot processing, and green tea production.

A delegation from Imerys Industrial Corporation (France), the foreign partner of YBB Calcium Carbonate joint Venture Company, recently met with Yen Bai provincial leaders to discuss cooperation and investment prospects.

Following the directives of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee on achieving an economic growth target of at least 8.2% and striving for 10.5% or higher under favorable conditions, Yen Bai province has developed a growth scenario and the necessary conditions to implement it.

YBO - Yen Bai – The movement "All People Exercise Following the Example of Great Uncle Ho" has been widely promoted among officials, public servants, and residents of Yen Bai City, leading to significant participation in regular sports and fitness activities, reaching a rate of 64%.

YBO - In 2024, Yen Bai Province's Public Service Portal ranked 8th out of 63 provinces and centrally governed cities, thanks to its strong efforts in administrative reform and the development of online public services.

YBO - The People's Committee of Yen Bai Province has issued Official Document No. 394/UBND-HCC on February 4, 2025, to increase the proportion of fully online public service applications and ensure the fulfillment of targets set for 2025 and beyond.

YBO - In January 2025, Yen Bai Province's export value is estimated to reach $35.5 million, accounting for 7.1% of the annual target and representing a 115.0% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

YBO - This morning, 12th of December (the 15th day of the first lunar month, Year of the Snake 2025), thousands of locals and visitors gathered at the Nam Cuong Communal House – Temple – Pagoda Cultural and Historical Site in Nam Cuong Ward, Yen Bai City, to attend the opening ceremony of the Nam Cuong Mother Goddess Temple Festival.
