YBO - In January 2025, Yen Bai Province's export value is estimated to reach $35.5 million, accounting for 7.1% of the annual target and representing a 115.0% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

This achievement results from the province’s proactive efforts in promoting export activities from the beginning of the year. Yen Bai has implemented a trade promotion program to stabilize and expand traditional foreign markets while targeting potential markets such as the European Union, the United States, Japan, and South Korea.

Additionally, the province has strengthened business networking activities and supported enterprises in enhancing product promotion through e-commerce platforms. The focus has been on deeply processed agricultural and forestry products and consumer goods for export.

As a result, import-export activities in January remained stable and showed significant growth compared to the same period in 2024. The province's export value is estimated at $35.5 million, while the import value is estimated at $16.0 million, reaching 107% of the figure recorded in January 2024.
