YBO - Yen Bai province has mobilised resources to speed up the implementation of key projects worth nearly 12.2 trillion VND (nearly 514.8 million USD), including 21 new projects worth over 10.2 trillion VND, and five behind-schedule projects with a total investment of nearly 2 trillion VND.

YBO - Thanks to the adoption of flexible solutions, export activities in Yen Bai province have continued to be promoted, contributing to maintaining growth.

YBO - Thanks to support under the Forest and Farm Facility (FFF) of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the Farmers' Association of Yen Bai province has implemented many activities to help its members diversify products under the forest canopy.

YBO - In 2022, departments, agencies, localities, forest owners and residents in Yen Bai province have made great efforts in forest management and wildfire prevention and control, with measures rolled out concertedly and effectively from the provincial to grassroots levels.

YBO - Tram Tau district has over 45,000 heads of key livestock and nearly 8,000 of other kinds. In order to proactively respond to and minimise damage caused by severe cold spells in the husbandry sector, authorities and people in the district have actively worked to prevent hunger and cold for livestock.

YBO - Van Chan district counts 19 products that meet the “One Commune-One Product” (OCOP) programme standards.

YBO - In March 2011, the People’s Committee of Yen Bai province agreed to establish a business association in the locality with 63 member enterprises that act as a representative of the business community and entrepreneurs in the province. By now, the association has 168 members.

YBO - Yen Bai province has so far had over 11,000 ha out of 24,000 ha of forest granted sustainable forest management certificates in accordance with standards of the Vietnam Forest Certification Scheme (VFCS) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

YBO - Yen Bai Province’s Business Association has successfully organised its 3rd congress, 2022 - 2027 tenure.
