YBO- Politburo member, permanent member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Secretariat and Chairwoman of the CPV Central Committee’s Organsiation Commission Truong Thi Mai, who is also Chairwoman of the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group, led a high-level delegation on a working visit to Japan from March 31 to April 3.

YBO- A delegation from Tokyo Energy System Inc of Japan has made a field trip to the northern province of Yen Bai to explore cooperation, investment, and business opportunities related to developing biomass energy projects in Yen Binh district.

Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc, University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University (VNU), is well-known as a scientist and an educator who has contributed to the field of science nationally domestically and internationally. He is especially known for his role as an educator, introducing who introduce the international world of science to different generations of Vietnamese students.

YBO - A delegation from Yen Bai province led by Do Duc Duy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and head of the province’s delegation of National Assembly deputies, had working sessions with authorities of Seocheon district and Boryeong city in South Chungcheong province, the Republic of Korea.

As part of their working visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK), Secretary of the Yen Bai provincial Party Committee Do Duc Duy, who is also head of the National Assembly deputies’ delegation of the province, and other officials had a meeting with Governor Kim Jin-tae of the RoK’s Gangwon province on March 4.

The annual Dong Cuong Temple festival in Van Yen district of Yen Bai opens on the first day of the Cat of the first lunar month in a year. This year, the festival takes place on February 20-21 at the Dong Cuong Temple, which is a national historical-cultural relic site.

YBO - A ceremony to launch production and business activities in 2024 has been held in Yen Bai city by the Party Committee of the agencies and businesses’ bloc of Yen Bai province in collaboration with the provincial Business Association.

YBO - The People’s Committee of Tran Yen district held a ceremony in Quy Mong commune to launch the tree planting festival in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) on the morning of February 15, or the sixth day of the first lunar month.

YBO – The Spring Press Festival is underway at the Yen Bai Museum, along with exhibitions to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lunar New Year of the Dragon.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on January 31 visited Tran Yen district in the northern province of Yen Bai, extending Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings and presenting gifts to 160 policy beneficiary families, revolution contributors, poor households, and workers facing difficulties.

YBO -The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Vietnam has handed over equipment to several local boarding and semi-boarding ethnic minority schools of Yen Bai province.

YBO - Yen Bai authorities on December 23 held a grand ceremony to announce and hand over national intangible cultural heritage certificates for the arts of Khen (panpipe) and of creating decorative patterns on fabric using beeswax by the Mong ethnic people in three districts, namely Mu Cang Chai, Tram Tau, and Van Chan.
