52 students honoured with “student with 3 good criteria” title

YBO- Fifty-two high-school students in Yen Bai province were recently honoured with the “student with three good criteria” title at the central level.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's Central Committee, in collaboration with the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Students' Association, held a programme to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students (January 9, 1950-2024), and to honour outstanding individuals with the titles of "student with three good criteria”, "student with three good training criteria”, and "student with five good criteria” at the central level.

Yen Bai province had 52 high-school students getting the "student with three good criteria” in the 2022-2023 academic year, including 10 from Nguyen Hue High School, 12 from Yen Bai province Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Students, five from Nghia Lo town High School, two from Cam An High School, three from Tran NhatDuat High School, 24 from Thac Ba High School, and two from Hong Quang High School.

Luong Minh Bao, a student from the Yen Bai Vocational College, and Hoang HuuLinh, a student from Yen Bai College, received the "January Star” award.

With excellent academic results and enthusiastic engagement in the youth union’s activities and movements as well as voluntary programmes, they are all typical examples of local responsible and enthusiastic students who have made efforts to build their homeland.

The "student with three good criteria” title at the central level is given to those with excellent learning results, and those with proactive participation in the youth union’s activities.

Meanwhile, the "January Star” is a noble award that the Executive Board of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Students' Association presents to standout students with great academic performance and enthusiastic participation in the youth union and student association’s activities.
