To date, Yen Bai has invested over VND 1,900 billion in education for ethnic minority, remote, and disadvantaged areas. This has significantly contributed to improving school enrollment, increasing attendance rates, and enhancing the quality of education for ethnic communities.

Looking ahead, the province aims to further increase the proportion of ethnic minority students studying at boarding and semi-boarding schools with full access to essential learning conditions. By 2025, Yen Bai strives to complete the solidification of classroom infrastructure and ensure that over 65% of preschools and general education institutions meet national standards.
