Two art forms of Mong people honoured as national intangible cultural heritage

YBO - Yen Bai authorities on December 23 held a grand ceremony to announce and hand over national intangible cultural heritage certificates for the arts of Khen (panpipe) and of creating decorative patterns on fabric using beeswax by the Mong ethnic people in three districts, namely Mu Cang Chai, Tram Tau, and Van Chan.

On the occasion of the upcoming national holidays of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, and May Day from April 27 to May 1, a lot of tourist activities will be held in Mu Cang Chai district, including the opening of the 2024 Paragliding Festival entitled “Bay tren mien danh thang” (Flying over Scenic Spot).
