Yen Bai opens Spring Press Festival, exhibitions to mark Party’s founding anniversary

YBO – The Spring Press Festival is underway at the Yen Bai Museum, along with exhibitions to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lunar New Year of the Dragon.

The event displays more than 1,000 publications by 20 press agencies, magazines, and news bulletins of the province, reflecting Yen Bai’s socio-economic development achievements in 2023 with outstanding efforts of the provincial Party Commission, administration and people. It also marks the beginning of a series of activities to celebrate the Party’s founding anniversary, the arrival of Spring, and major festivals of the locality in 2024.

Other activities are also being held along with the Spring Press Festival, including the art photo exhibition "Yen Bai – the convergence of Northwest colours"; a thematic exhibition named " Celebrate the spring festival”; folk games, Check-in space "Spring Street - Yen Bai Cultural Colours" and Lunar New Year 2024 Spring book space, aiming to serve the demand for cultural enjoyment and create a bustling and exciting atmosphere as well as places for people to gather. Particularly, many tourist attractions and cultural activities are re-enacted at the provincial museum for the first time such as the Tram Tau hot mineral spring space, Ta Xua mossy forest (Tram Tau) and mobile library vehicles, which are expected to help residents and tourists have wonderful experiences.

Thanks to the Spring Press Festival and other activities to celebrate the Party’s founding anniversary and the Lunar New Year of the Dragon with unique content and diverse forms, people and tourists can have a better understanding of the beauty and cultural identity of the land and people of Yen Bai, as well as the efforts of all-level party committees, administrations and people in developing the province rapidly and sustainably, towards "Green, harmony, identity and happiness", people’s satisfaction and a high happiness index.

Exhibitions to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Dragon will last until February 15, 2024 (from the 23rd day of the last day of the Year of the Cat to the sixth day of the Dragon).
