YBO - A conference has been held in the northern province of Yen Bai to connect local suppliers in the northwestern region, export companies, and trade promotion organisations.

The event, organised by the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, saw the participation of representatives from 10  provinces in the region, export companies. and commercial counsellors of India, Pakistan, and China.

Participants discussed solutions to support businesses in improving cross-border export capacity through e-commerce; product quality requirements and documents/procedures for bringing goods into supermarkets; and sales on the TikTok channel.

They also discussed measures to expand business markets, form supply-consumption chains, improve production and business capacity, overcome limitations, and improve production methods to meet the requirements and standards of foreign markets.

On this occasion, 20 cooperation Memorandums of Understanding were signed by industrial promotion and trade promotion centres in the northwest provinces, e-commercial floors, retail systems, and suppliers.
