Yen Bai’s Van Yen district, Laos’s Sainyabuli province exchange military experience

YBO - A delegation of the Military Command of Sainyabuli province of Laos has held talks and exchanged experience with the Military Command of Yen Bai province’s Van Yen district.

The Lao delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Sacxaynhaphon, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sainyabuli Military Command.

The two sides touched upon the military staff work, the implementation of military and defence tasks, and notably economic development in combination with strengthening national defence and security capabilities, and the role of armed forces in disaster response and search and rescue operations.

Sacxaynhaphon thanked local officers and soldiers for their warm welcome, and congratulated the Vietnamese side on its achievements in instructing the implementation of socio-economic, and military-defence tasks over the past time.

The officer noted his hope that the special traditional relations between the Parties, States and people of the two countries will be green and sustainable forever.

The Military Commands of Yen Bai and Sainyabuli provinces set up twinned relationship since 2020.
