Yen Bai: All businesses hold employee dialogues at workplace

YBO - In the northern province of Yen Bai, all administrative units hold cadres and civil servant conferences; 85% of enterprises organise employee conferences; and all enterprises hold employee dialogues at workplace and build democratic regulations at work with practical contents, meeting interests of employees.

From 2018-2023, the provincial Trade Union of Industrial Parks directed its affiliates to coordinate with leaders of agencies and business owners to develop democratic regulations in accordance with laws.

The percentage of its affiliates that have developed internal spending regulations and cooperation regulations with enterprises has reached 89%, while 70% of affiliate trade unions have signed collective labour agreements.

The executive committees of affiliated trade unions have coordinated with business leaders in instructing employees to sign labor contracts according to the labour law and participate in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance. So far, 92% of the employees have signed labour contracts.
