Yen Bai organises nearly 50 attractive events, programmes during upcoming holidays

YBO - YBO – On the occasion of the five-day holiday of Hung Kings Commemoration Day, National Reunification and May Day (April 29-May 3), Yen Bai province plans to organise nearly 50 attractive events and programmes from April 22 to May 3 in all of its localities to create a festive atmosphere for local people and stimulate tourism development.

To take advantage of this "golden period", Yen Bai has promoted tourism activities by holding a series of events, programmes, contests and experiential activities to attract more visitors.

In Mu Cang Chai district, activities to discover terraced fields, a special national relic site, in the watering season are still held as usual, including a paragliding festival, art performances, folk games, and Khen (panpipes) performances.

In Yen Binh district, there will be a cultural and sport festival named "Echo of Thac Ba Lake" with competitions of traditional and modern sports and water games. Communes are also preparing local specialties to better serve visitors.

Meanwhile, Van Chan district will organise activities to experience Lechamp Tu Le resort, explore and experience adventure games at Aeris Hill, play folk games, and enjoy dishes of the Mong ethnic group and tea in Suoi Giang commune...

To date, tourism sites, resorts, accommodation establishments, homestays, and famous destinations in the province have actively implemented solutions to embellish the landscape, ensure facilities and human resources; and developed plans to organise more activities to better serve tourists.
