Yen Bai posts many high economic indicators in 2022

YBO - The local socio-economic situation remained stable in the first two months of this year, with a recovery in production and business and year-on-year increases in many economic indicators, heard a regular working session of the People’s Committee of Yen Bai province.

The provincial industrial production index in the two months rose by about 7.9% and the industrial production value reached some 2.3 trillion VND (96.92 million USD), up 9.8% from the same period last year.

The total retail sales of goods and services in the period fulfilled 17% of the set target, up 15.4% year-on-year.

Tourism revenue hit 217.7 billion VND, equivalent to 16.1% of the plan and up 46% year-on-year.

The accumulative development investment exceeded 2.5 trillion VND, equivalent to 12.7% of the plan and up 3.1% against the corresponding time last year.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
