YBO - To expedite land clearance and resettlement efforts for the 500kV transmission line project from Lao Cai to Vinh Yen (Vinh Phuc), the People's Committee of Yen Binh District has established a specialized Council and Task Force. These teams are responsible for conducting inspections, preparing compensation plans, and facilitating resettlement for the project.

In 2024, Yen Binh District exceeded its employment goals, training 3,148 workers in vocational skills, achieving 131.17% of the provincial target and 125.9% of the district's plan. These efforts aim to improve the quality, efficiency, and competitiveness of local products while advertising and introducing agricultural products, OCOP items, and regional specialties on e-commerce platforms, contributing to the development of the province’s digital economy.

Yen Bai Province currently operates 20 points for the introduction and sale of OCOP (One Commune, One Product) items, showcasing 260 certified OCOP products rated three stars or higher. These sales points are distributed across most districts, towns, and cities in the province, with the highest concentration located in Yen Bai City, Van Yen District, and Nghia Lo Town.

According to the self-assessment results for 2024’s digital transformation indicators, Yen Bai City has successfully completed all 38 sub-indicators under six primary Digital Transformation indices, achieving a score of 909.9 out of 1,000 points.

In 2024, Yen Bai's tourism sector is expected to attract 2,150,000 visitors, reaching 26.4% of its annual plan and marking a 3% increase compared to the same period last year. Among them, international visitors are estimated at 270,000, achieving 90% of the target. Since the beginning of the year, the Yen Bai Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has implemented preferential credit programs for poor households, near-poor households, and social policy beneficiaries, with a total outstanding loan balance reaching VND 5,327 billion.

YBO - To date, 100% of OCOP products in Yen Bai Province have been listed on the province's e-commerce platforms and some other domestic e-commerce platforms, with 600 products listed on the provincial platform.
