Yen Bai City achieves digital transformation targets for 2024

According to the self-assessment results for 2024’s digital transformation indicators, Yen Bai City has successfully completed all 38 sub-indicators under six primary Digital Transformation indices, achieving a score of 909.9 out of 1,000 points.

Throughout the implementation of digital transformation tasks, the city has adopted numerous innovative and effective approaches. These include organizing specialized conferences on digital transformation, hosting online competitions, piloting the development of smart operation centers in three wards: Dong Tam, Nguyen Thai Hoc, and Minh Tan, and implementing 100% "Market 4.0" models.

Additionally, the city has maintained and expanded practical and creative models, including the "No-Wait Administrative Procedures" model in all 15 communes and wards, paperless meeting rooms, and the use of electronic maps for health workers and ambulance services. It has also deployed software for scheduling at-home medical testing and vaccination services, integrated into the YenBai-S Digital Citizen application. Efforts to support residents in installing and using digital platforms at home have been emphasized, alongside campaigns such as "Cashless Day" and "Digital Transformation Saturday." Support groups have been established to assist citizens with administrative procedures, including fully online and partial process solutions. As a result, 89.6% of the adult population in Yen Bai City now utilizes electronic payment services, reflecting significant progress in the city’s digital transformation journey.
