Since 2023, with funding from the Solidarity Service International (SODI) of Germany, the Center for Promoting Development for Women and Children (DWC), in collaboration with the Provincial Women’s Union, the People’s Committee, and the Women’s Union of Luc Yen District, has implemented this project. A grant of over 116 million VND was provided to the Hoa Lua Cooperative Group to establish and develop the safe green rice production model on a scale of 1.4 hectares.

Throughout the production process, members strictly comply with regulations on chemical-free farming practices, ensuring adherence to the "5 No" criteria which are no herbicides, no molluscicides, no chemical pesticides, no chemical fertilizers, and no growth stimulants.

After more than a year of implementation, the Hoa Lua Cooperative Group has developed a recognizable logo and packaging for its product, "Com Mo Me." The product has gained initial trust and positive feedback from customers regarding its quality and design.

According to preliminary statistics, since the start of the harvest season, the cooperative has sold over 2 tons of green rice at an average price of 80,000 VND per kilogram, generating more than 160 million VND in revenue.

The "Chemical-Free" sticky rice production model not only enables cooperative members to produce high-quality, fragrant green rice but also contributes to promoting sustainable agricultural practices and environmental protection.
