On the evening of November 9th, at the 19/8 Square (Km5, Yen Bai City), the Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with Nhi Van Media Corporation, held the finals of the "The Charming Beauty - Graceful Yen Bai Youth" competition for 2024.

The SPRINT project aims to improve the socio-economic welfare of ethnic minority women in Yen Bai Province. Running from 2024 to 2029, the project is funded by a non-refundable ODA budget of 9.75 million Canadian dollars.
Since the beginning of the year, Yen Bai Province has provided employment for over 20,900 workers, achieving 104.5% of its annual target. Notably, nearly 7,500 workers have transitioned from agricultural to non-agricultural sectors, surpassing the target at 107%.
The Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam, Thomas Gass, reaffirmed Switzerland's commitment to supporting Yen Bai Province in addressing the aftermath of natural disasters and collaborating on climate change response initiatives in the coming period.
In addition to recruiting teachers according to the allocated quota, Tran Huy Tuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Yen Bai Province, urged the province's education sector to rationally allocate teaching staff between lowland and highland areas, among schools, and across subjects. He proposed addressing the shortage of English and IT teachers through a combination of in-person and online teaching while advancing smart education via digital transformation.
