On the evening of November 9th, at the 19/8 Square (Km5, Yen Bai City), the Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with Nhi Van Media Corporation, held the finals of the "The Charming Beauty - Graceful Yen Bai Youth" competition for 2024.

This inaugural competition aims to find outstanding individuals who embody both the appearance and intellect representative of Yen Bai’s youth.

Launched in July 2024, the competition attracted over 150 talented and beautiful young women from Yen Bai, aged from 17 to 25, studying at various academies, universities, colleges, Vocational and Continuing Education Centers, high schools, and working in institutions nationwide. After two preliminary rounds and a semi-final, the organizers selected the 15 most outstanding contestants to compete in the final.

During the final night, contestants went through two rounds: ethnic attire presentation and a talent showcase. They presented traditional clothing unique to Yen Bai and showcased their individual talents in performances such as singing, dancing, and storytelling. Following these rounds, the organizers selected the top five contestants for the Q&A segment, where they competed for the title of the contest's beauty queen.

With confidence and an outstanding performance in the Q&A round, contestant Giang Tuyet Tinh, number 55, was crowned the titleholder of The Charming Beauty - Yen Bai Youth 2024. The Organizing Committee also awarded the title of First Runner-Up to contestant Nguyen Thi Huyen, number 84, and Second Runner-Up to contestant Nguyen Uyen Trang, number 04. Additional awards were given for Best Ao Dai Wear, Best Ethnic Attire, Yen Bai Youth Tourism Ambassador, and Most Popular Contestant.

As part of "The Charming Beauty - Yen Bai Youth” program, facilitated through the positive collaboration of the Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, Nhi Van Media JSC, and the Tam Thuong Charitable Fund, two first-grade students in exceptionally difficult circumstances received sponsorship. They will be supported with 2 million VND per month until they turn 18, totaling over 500 million VND.
