An overview of the symposium.

The book, titled "Resolutely, persistently fighting corruption and negative phenomena to contribute to building a cleaner and stronger Party and State”, gathers and systematises the Party leader’s thoughts, directions, and writings with theoretical and practical values about corruption and negative phenomena prevention and control to help Party committees and organisations, along with sectors, all-level authorities, cadres, and Party members, to grasp and effectively combat corruption and negative phenomena.
Eleven speeches delivered at the symposium analysed the core and reality-relevant values of such topics as enhancing the direction over the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation and the fight against hostile forces' distortions in the corruption and negative phenomena combat; grasping the viewpoint that "there are no off-limits zones” in the fight against corruption to help build an increasingly clean and strong Party organisation and administration in Yen Bai province; measures for improving the quality and effectiveness of the corruption and negative phenomena prevention and control; improving the quality of communications about the corruption and negative phenomena combat on Yen Bai Newspaper; and promoting the fight in Yen Bai province in the current context.
Participants also proposed some solutions to disseminate the book and spread its values to local cadres and Party members, thereby helping strengthen their political mettle and encourage them to make self-improvement in their morality, lifestyle and working performance.
The symposium was a chance for agencies, units, and individuals to improve their awareness and sense of responsibility towards the corruption and negative phenomena combat in the new context so that they will play a more active role in fighting corruption and negative phenomena, protecting the Party, building a clean, lean, efficient and effective apparatus, and joining hands with local enterprises and people to turn Yen Bai into a province with fast, sustainable, green, harmonious, identity-imbued, and happy development.
