YBO - The Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association in Canada will provide financial support to enhance meal quality at Nghia Tam Primary School in Van Chan District, with a sponsorship of 200 million VND per school year over a period of five years (from the 2024-2025 school year to 2028-2029).

On the afternoon of November 9, the Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Council organized the first simulated session of the Provincial Children's People's Council at the Provincial People's Council Hall. The session was held with the participation of 30 children who are members of the Provincial Children’s Council and 50 outstanding youth representatives.

Recently, Yen Bai Province’s tourism sector has achieved notable progress, driven by the coordinated and effective implementation of national and provincial resolutions and policies for tourism development.

Under the framework of the project “Emergency Support to Ensure Basic Living Needs for People Affected by Typhoon No. 3 Yagi 2024 in Van Yen District, Yen Bai Province,” over 900 households in Van Yen District have received aid totaling more than 6 billion VND.

On the morning of November 9th, the "Land of Gems" Club (CLB Mien Dat Ngoc) held a gathering and officially launched in Yen Bai. YBO - Recently, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) granted 5.14 billion VND to assist Yen Bai in recovering from the damage caused by the tropical cyclone of Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi).

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh recently signed Decision No. 1309/QD-TTg, awarding Certificates of Merit to five groups and twelve individuals who have demonstrated excellence in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.

As of now, 100% of the distinctive tourism and cultural sites in Nghia Lo Town (Yen Bai) have been included in a comprehensive database. All businesses, homestays, lodging facilities, restaurants, and hotels are utilizing digital platforms to enhance management, promotion, and the connection of supply and demand within the tourism sector.

YBO - On the evening of October 26 (26/10), in Mu Cang Chai District, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and President of the Yen Bai People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, and Vice President of the Yen Bai People’s Committee, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh, welcomed a delegation from the embassies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Algeria, Mongolia, and South Africa in Vietnam. YBO - The project "Supporting the Community of Yen Bai Province in Recovery from Typhoon Yagi" (Yagi-YB Project) aims to assist residents of five flood-affected communes and wards in Yen Bai City and Tran Yen District in improving their environment and restoring livelihoods. It also seeks to enhance the capacity for community-based disaster risk management among local women, the young, and children.

Recently, Van Chan, Tram Tau, and Mu Cang Chai districts of Yen Bai Province joined with Muong La and Bac Yen districts of Son La Province in Bac Yen District to convene a conference marking two years of cooperation. This initiative focuses on advancing agriculture, tourism, and the preservation of local ethnic cultures across both provinces.

YBO - In mid-September, Yen Bai provincial museum staff discovered a variety of plant and animal fossils in Minh Long Hamlet, Tuy Loc Commune, Yen Bai City. These fossils belong to the Co Phuc Formation, dating back between 7 to 10 million years.

YBO- The Italian Business Association in Vietnam has provided significant support to the people of Yen Bai City by donating various household and educational supplies to help them recover from the impacts of Typhoon No.
