Co-organised by the local chapter of the Yen Bai literature and art association, Yen Bai poetry lovers’ association, and many literature and poetry clubs, the event was a response to the annual Vietnam Poetry Day.

Participating authors and poets from the associations and clubs recited a host of poems that honour the Party, late President Ho Chi Minh, the people and land of Yen Bai, and the nation’s glorious history.

The festival helped gather poets and poetry lovers, nurture the soul of locals, and build the province with its motto of ‘green, harmony, identity, and happiness’.
