Art exchange held for Lao students in Yen Bai

YBO - An art programme has been held in Cam An high school in Yen Binh district Vietnamese and Lao students in Yen Bai College on the occasion of the 40th Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-2022).

Students of Cam An primary, secondary and high schools and Lao students brought to the programme a number of art performances honouring the homeland, the nation and teachers as well as the close and loyal ties between Vietnam and Laos.

Through the songs and dances, Lao students got a better understanding of the culture of Yen Bai, the tradition of respecting teachers of Vietnamese people, as well as the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.

Despite a 40% drop in tourist numbers in September due to the impact of Typhoon No. 3, Yen Bai welcomed over 1.114 million visitors in the first ten months of 2024—a 51.58% increase year-over-year.

The New Rice Offering Ceremony at Nhuoc Son Temple is held annually on the 20th day of the 9th lunar month (20/9).

Recently, at the Nhuoc Son Temple, a national cultural and historical site located in Ngoc Chau Hamlet, Chau Que Ha Commune, Van Yen District, the New Rice Offering Ceremony was held to honor the great contributions of General Ha Chuong of the Tay ethnic group.
