This outcome was achieved through various initiatives implemented by Mu Cang Chai district, including welcoming the first international tourist delegation on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025 (At Ty); The district also organized tourism activities that allow visitors to explore the cultural heritage of the Thai and Mong ethnic communities, discover the region’s natural landscapes, and experience the local way of life. Additionally, tourists had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities such as creating traditional wax-resist batik patterns and crafting musical instruments.

Furthermore, the district organized a highland market and various cultural events, traditional folk games, and sports activities that attracted a large number of locals and tourists. These included tug-of-war, stilt walking, blindfolded drum beating, spinning top games, "tó mắc lẹ, đánh yến”, stick pushing, and more.

Alongside these efforts, Mu Cang Chai district strengthened inspections and monitoring to ensure food hygiene and safety at dining establishments serving tourists. Findings from official inspections confirmed that there were no cases of harassment, overcharging, or price gouging, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for visitors. As a result, tourism activities in the district have been vibrant and well-organized, drawing a significant number of visitors for sightseeing and cultural experiences.

In the coming period, Mu Cang Chai district will continue to direct local authorities, government agencies, and social organizations to support residents in enhancing their awareness and mindset toward tourism development. Efforts will focus on encouraging household economic investments that align with the preservation, protection, and promotion of ethnic cultural heritage. At the same time, the district plans to intensify promotional campaigns and tourism marketing initiatives to attract more visitors to this highland destination.
