Provincial leaders inspect nCoV prevention, control

YBO - Yen Bai province set up five working groups on February 6-7 to inspect the prevention and control of the acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus (nCoV) in its localities.

Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Yen Bai, made a field trip to health centres in Luc Yen district. Duong Van Thong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the delegation of Yen Bai’s National Assembly deputies, supervised the work in Mu Cang Chai district. Meanwhile, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Do Duc Duy made a fact-finding trip to the medical centre of Yen The district. 


Duong Van Thong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, inspects nCoV prevention and control at the Mu Cang Chai district health centre. 

The leaders asked relevant agencies and localities to pay special attention to the communication work to raise public awareness of nCoV prevention and control in remote, far-flung and ethnic minority-inhabited areas.

They stressed the need to prepare equipment and human resources, put forth countermeasures, closely monitor public places, tourist sites, hotels and restaurants and reduce mass gatherings. 

These agencies and localities were also urged to follow medical instructions and work hard to early detect infection cases. 

On this occasion, the leaders inspected the implementation of the provincial Party Committee’s action programme No. 190 dated November 26, 2019 on the implementation of the Party Central Committee’s Conclusion No. 63-KL/TW dated October 18, 2019, and the Resolution adopted at the 27th session of the provincial Party Committee on the implementation of political tasks in 2020.
