Provincial Party Committee meets Party members with 60-year membership

YBO - The provincial Party Committee on February 1 organised a meeting with Party members who received 60-year Party membership badges on the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3).

Reviewing the CPV’s revolutionary traditions as well as glorious milestones in the past nine decades, participants at the event said people of ethnic minority groups in the locality who were courageous in the fights against foreign invaders, and industrious in production, joined hands with the whole nation to shape the country’s glorious history.

The local Party committee, authorities and people in the province have promoted solidarity and resilience while mobilising resources for local socio-economic development, building a strong and pure Party and political system as well as maintaining social order.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Pham Thi Thanh Tra affirmed concerted efforts made by generations of Party members, particularly those who were presented with badges for their membership of 60 years or more, are behind the province’s success in the past nine decades.

Tra expressed her hope that the excellent Party members will continue to be typical examples and give inspiration and strength to many young members so that they will unceasingly promote revolutionary morality and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style. 

She said the move will help the members have political firmness and overcome challenges to comprehensively and sustainably develop Yen Bai province in accordance to Uncle Ho’s wills when he visited the locality 60 years ago.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan personally presented support and gifts to workers facing hardships across Yen Bai Province.

On January 16, the Yen Bai Provincial Labor Federation organized the 2025 "Tet Sum Vay" program under the theme “Tet Sum Vay – Spring of Gratitude to the Party,” aiming to encourage, support, and care for union members and workers in Luc Yen District.

Luc Yen District presents the provincial decision recognizing Dong Quan Commune as meeting NTM standards for 2024.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
