Yen Bai commends 138 outstanding collectives, individuals in 2022 patriotic emulation movement

YBO - The Yen Bai provincial People’s Committee has held a conference reviewing emulation and commendation work in 2022 and launched tasks and the patriotic emulation movement for 2023.

Responding to emulation movements launched by the Government and the province in 2022, all-level authorities, sectors, localities, agencies, units, enterprises, and people of all social strata in Yen Bai province strived to make reforms and innovations to practically and effectively contribute to each socio-economic development and life aspect.

Meanwhile, the commendation work became more substantive as seen in the granting of rewards to grassroots-level collectives and workers, those with prominent achievements in different fields, and role models in emulation campaigns.


On behalf of the State President, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Do Duc Duy presents the second-class Labour Order to Vu Quynh Khanh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, in recognition of the latter’s outstanding achievements in the 2017 - 2021 period that contributed to the socialism building and national defence.

At the conference, the provincial Emulation and Commendation Council presented the Independence Order and Labour Order to three collectives and seven individuals, the Meritorious Artisan title to three individuals, the Government’s emulation flag to 11 collectives, and the Prime Minister’s certificates of merit to three collectives and 24 individuals.

It also handed over the emulation flag from the Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee to 38 collectives, the Yen Bai provincial Artisan title to 14 individuals, the certificates of merit from the Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee to 12 exemplary collectives and 13 individuals in 2022, and the certificates of merit from the Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee to 10 outstanding citizens of Yen Bai last year.

For 2023, all-level authorities, sectors, and localities in Yen Bai will continue seriously and effectively implementing the Government and the province’s directives and plans on emulation and commendation; carry out emulation campaigns in tandem with the implementation of all-level Party congresses’ resolutions, as well as the province’s resolutions, action plans, projects, policies, and political tasks; and pay attention to reforming the content, forms, and methodology of organising emulation movements to create momentum for socio-economic development.

They will work to fruitfully implement the emulation movements launched by the Government and the provincial People’s Committee; stay determined to successfully and comprehensively achieve the targets set in the provincial Party Committee’s Action Programme No 135 and the provincial People’s Council’s Resolution No 43 on the socio-economic development plan for 2023; push ahead with the implementation of the provincial Party Committee’s Resolution No 51 on digital transformation for 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030; and concurrently step up economic restructuring, growth model reform, and improvement of the local economy’s productivity, quality, efficiency, and competitiveness.

Luc Yen District presents the provincial decision recognizing Dong Quan Commune as meeting NTM standards for 2024.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
