Yen Bai leaders pay pre-Tet visit to localities

On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet), Secretary of Yen Bai province’s Party Committee Do Duc Duy, Standing Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council Ta Van Long, and Chairman of the People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan recently inspected the preparations for Tet, visited units on duty during Tet holidays, and gave gifts to policy beneficiaries and poor households in Tram Tau, Yen Binh and Tran Yen districts.

In the localities, the leaders presented gifts and extended Tet greetings to policy beneficiaries, people who rendered service to the nation, and households under extremely difficult circumstances; and inspected preparations for Tet at medical centres, medical examination and treatment facilities, and military and police agencies.

Briefing the units on the outstanding achievements that Yen Bai province gained in 2022, the leaders requested them to well carry out tasks and plans set out for 2023.

They also asked Party committees and authorities at all levels to pay special attention to taking care of poor households and policy beneficiaries during the Tet holidays, continue to review and assign tasks to officials to strictly perform tasks before, during and after Tet, with focus on maintaining social security, order and safety, and preventing law violations and use of alcohol while driving.
