YBO - The 15th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Yen Bai province in the 2022 – 2027 term has been held recently, drawing the participation of 220 official delegates representing 227,000 local members.

Over the years, Yen Bai youths have been active in studying and working, innovating, starting up businesses, and participating in economic development and new-style rural building, thus contributing to the development of the province.

Youth-led movements have created strong changes and been rich in content and diverse in forms, attracting the participation of a large number of youths, teenagers and children.

Participants discussed and commented on the draft Documents of the 12th National Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress and the 15th Congress of the Yen Bai Youth Union in the 2022 – 2027 tenure. They agreed on Yen Bai youths’ tasks of taking the lead in promoting the application of science - technology, actively participating in digital transformation, promoting cultural values, protecting the environment, contributing to developing the province quickly and sustainably in the direction of "Greenness, harmony, identity and happiness", turning Yen Bai into a relatively well developed locality by 2025 and in the group of leading developed provinces of the northern midland and mountainous region by 2030.

The congress elected 33 delegates to the Executive Committee of Yen Bai province’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for 2022-2027. The first meeting of the Executive Committee elected an 11-strong Standing Board. Ha Duc Hai, Vice Secretary of the provincial Youth Union in the 14th tenure was elected Secretary of the new term.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan personally presented support and gifts to workers facing hardships across Yen Bai Province.

Luc Yen District presents the provincial decision recognizing Dong Quan Commune as meeting NTM standards for 2024.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
