Greetings extended to Buddhist worshipping facilities on Vu Lan Festival

YBO - On the occasion of the Vu Lan Festival in the year of 2556 in Buddhist calendar, a working team gathering representatives from the Yen Bai Party Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission, provincial Department of Home Affairs and Department of Public Security visited and presented gifts to the Executive Council of the Yen Bai Buddhist Sangha and leaders of Linh Phong Pagoda in Yen Ninh Ward and Van Tien Pagoda in Van Phu commune of Yen Bai city.

The team extended their greetings and wishes for a festival of peace and good health.

They expressed hopes that Buddhism dignitaries and officials will continue to support the local Party Committee and administration to encourage local residents and Buddhist followers to strictly implement the Party and State’s policies and laws, and called for their active engagement in patriotism movements and campaigns launched by the central, provincial and local agencies, contributing to promoting Yen Bai’s comprehensive development.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
