The plan aims to realise goals and tasks set in the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 2214/QD-TTg dated on December 28, 2021, approving the programme to carry out the campaign.

It is expected to enhance the public awareness of the responsibility of the campaign, focusing on the building of good morality, healthy lifestyle and a rich cultural environment, maintaining cultural values, reinforcing solidarity among the local community, and speeding up the building of new-style rural and civilised urban areas.

Under the plan, Yen Bai strives for 70% of local residents enjoying and engaging in cultural activities as well as the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values.

The province will continue to enhance the efficiency of provincial-level cultural institutions, cultural centres, museums and libraries. At least 70% of the administrative units at district and communal levels are expected to have their own Culture-Sports Centre, while 100% of the provincial libraries and museums are hoped to digitalise their documents and items.

At the same time, 100% of the administrative units at the communal level are expected to have entertainment venues for youngsters and children. Yen Bai aims to have at least 30% of wards and townships meeting standards of civilised urban areas. Meanwhile, at least 75% of villages, hamlets and residential groups are hoped to maintain their cultural area title, and 92% local agencies and businesses are expected to reach cultural standard requirements.

Yen Bai will also work to have at least 85% of local families securing their cultural family title.
