Provincial leader extends greetings to Yen Bai Women’s Union

YBO - Vice Secretary of the Yen Bai provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Huy Tuan on March 7 visited and extended greetings to the provincial Women’s Union on the 112th International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910 - 2022) and 1,982 years since the Trung Sisters Uprising.

Offering the best wishes to the cadres and members of the provincial Women’s Union on the occasion of the 112th International Women’s Day, Chairman Tuan praised the achievements by all-level women’s unions of Yen Bai in the recent past.

He spoke highly of their efforts to concurrently taking care of their families, participating in social activities, staying creative, and launching many emulation movements, thereby contributing to local socio-economic development.

The official expressed his hope that in the time ahead, the provincial Women’s Union Committee will continue sustaining their solidarity, creativity, and reforms to carry out emulation movements, helping develop Yen Bai into a green, harmonious, and happy province imbued with its own identity.

The same day, the standing member of the provincial Party Committee held a meeting with 12 delegates representing Yen Bai at the 13th National Women’s Congress for the 2022 - 2027 tenure.

On this occasion, a number of activities have been held in Yen Bai in celebration of the 112th International Women’s Day and the 13th National Women’s Congress. In particular, activities in response to the Ao dai Week 2022 are among the highlights.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan personally presented support and gifts to workers facing hardships across Yen Bai Province.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
