Mr. Vu Dinh Khoi in Quy Mong commune, Tran Yen district, who are one of people receiving help to build new houses in Tran Yen district, expressed his gratefulness for donations from the community to bring his family the happiness of living in a decent house.

Sitting in the new house, which replaces his 20-year-old one with sloppy palm roof, Khoi said if not for the financial assistance, his dream of a permanent house would not have come true.

The new house worth over 160 million VND of Mr. Do Van Tien’s family in Yen Thinh village, Hung Thinh commune, was also completed before the Tet festival.

"I am very grateful for the help from agencies and donors for my family”, Tien said.

His house was built with a preferential loan from the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank)’s branch in Yen Bai, 10 million VND in financial support from the Fund for the Poor of Tran Yen district, and support from Tien’s relatives and friends, besides the family's own savings.

The Z183 Factory is one of the enterprises which have regularly supported the construction of houses for poor households in Yen Bai in recent years. In 2021, the company donated 150 million VND to build three houses for families with difficult circumstances in the locality.

Last year, the Tran Yen district’s authority helped construct 44 houses and repair 39 others for 83 poor households with the total funding of over 2.5 billion VND./.
