Yen Bai issues guidance on COVID-19 prevention during Lunar New Year festival

YBO - The provincial steering committee for COVID-19 prevention and control has issued a guidance for people coming to Yen Bai during the upcoming Lunar New Year festival (Tet) as follows:

1. All citizens returning to Yen Bai province for Tet holiday are not required to present a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2. However, before arrival, they must go to health stations at their places of residence to fill out medical declaration forms, be instructed on measures for pandemic prevent and control, and get their samples collected for COVID-19 testing as prescribed in Dispatch No. 79/BCD-VX dated January 10, 2022.

2. Fully vaccinated people (with a green card on the electronic health book or related certificate issued by a competent authority) or those recovering from the disease within six months prior to their arrival in Yen Bai (with hospital discharge certificate / certificate of recovery from COVID-19):  Self-monitor their health and strictly adhere to the 5K message (for cases traveling from very high-risk areas, the self-monitoring of health is carried out at home or place of residence within seven  days from the date of arrival).

3.  People who have yet to be fully vaccinated (with a yellow card on the electronic health book or related vaccination certificate issued by a competent authority): quarantine at home or place of residence for seven days from the date of arrival, then self-monitor their health until they leave Yen Bai. During the health monitoring period, there is a no for them to gather and go to crowded places, and they have to strictly adhere to the 5K message.
