Yen Bai sets up COVID-19 prevention support stations

YBO - The Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of the northern province of Yen Bai has set up stations for supporting local people in preventing and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is one of activities to ensure safe adaptation to and flexible and effective control of the COVID-19 pandemic in the locality.

Accordingly, provincial and local inter-sector medical quarantine checkpoints have stopped working. They have been replaced by stations to support local people in preventing and controlling the pandemic.

The stations have been set up at IC12 intersection in Minh Quan commune of Tran Yen district, 1C14 intersection in An Thinh commune of Van Yen district, in Minh Quan commune of Tran Yen district, and at Km 14, Yen Binh township of Yen Binh district.

The stations became operational from 0:00 am on December 27, 2021.

Luc Yen District presents the provincial decision recognizing Dong Quan Commune as meeting NTM standards for 2024.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
