Yen Bai signs deal to sell safe farm produce on Voso.vn

YBO - The Yen Bai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development together with the provincial Department of Industry and Trade and the Viettel Post’s branch in Yen Bai have signed a cooperation pact to promote the sale of safe local agricultural products on Viettel’s e-commerce platform Voso.vn.

Voso.vn is a leading e-commerce platform in Vietnam, offering consumers easy, safe, and fast shopping experience with payment and delivery services provided by Viettel Post.

By signing the pact, Viettel Post is committed to working side by side with local farmers and producers to develop their brands, improve products' origin transparency, build consumers’ trust, respond to anti-dumping measures, and enhance the quality of Vietnamese specialties.

Currently, Yen Bai has 87 types of farm produce, including 70 products under its One Commune, One Product programme, available on Voso.vn.

The province has also worked with the provincial Post Office to put 44 agricultural products for sale on the e-commerce platform Postmart.vn.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan personally presented support and gifts to workers facing hardships across Yen Bai Province.

Luc Yen District presents the provincial decision recognizing Dong Quan Commune as meeting NTM standards for 2024.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
