Youth Month 2021 launched in Yen Bai province

YBO - The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Yen Bai province launched the Youth Month 2021 at a recent ceremony held in Hang Xe village, Xa Ho commune of Tram Tau district.

The month, aiming to uphold the tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, will include various activities organised in a practical, effective and economic manner. They will focus bolstering innovation for the community and support young people start their business. 

At the launching ceremony, nearly 400 young people of Tram Tau district planted 1,000 peach blossom trees along a road leading to Cu Vai cluster of Hang Xe village in Tram Tau.

On the occasion, the provincial youth union joined hands with emergency relief assistance provider World Vision Vietnam to start the construction of a road to school for students of Cang Dong village in the district’s Pa Hu commune, and offered aid to disadvantaged residents and children.

Earlier, the youth union introduced a model on the links between village’ youths and community-based tourism.

Project staff from the “Improvement of Reproductive and Sexual Health for Adolescents” initiative conduct communication activities on adolescent reproductive health care in Mu Cang Chai district.

Recently, Yen Bai province has faced concerning reproductive health statistics, with the pregnancy rate among women aged 15-19 reaching 15.5% in Mu Cang Chai district and 9.6% in Van Chan district. Home births remain prevalent, with 63.1% occurring in Mu Cang Chai and 13.5% in Van Chan.

On the afternoon of October 21, a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Office, led by Chief Advisor Tanaka Taketo, met with the Department of Health and Yen Bai General Hospital to discuss the implementation of activities for the "Strengthening the Capacity Development System for Healthcare Staff through Telemedicine" project.

Officials from the Yen Bai Provincial Tax Department guide business households on how to install and use the eTax Mobile electronic tax application.

With the viewpoint of placing citizens and businesses at the center as the main subjects and beneficiaries of digital transformation (DT), the entire political system in Yen Bai Province has actively engaged in implementing various specific and effective solutions to promote digital skills among residents and businesses. This initiative aims to enhance awareness and encourage community participation in the digital transformation process.
