Honoring 20 Outstanding Young Intellectuals in 2024

YBO - On the morning of October 22, at the Provincial Youth Activity Center, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Union of Youth Associations held a meeting to honor outstanding young intellectuals of Yen Bai Province in 2024.
The Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Union of Youth Associations awarded certificates of merit to 20 outstanding young intellectuals for their excellent achievements in professional activities and their involvement in youth union work and movements.

Recently, Yen Bai province has faced concerning reproductive health statistics, with the pregnancy rate among women aged 15-19 reaching 15.5% in Mu Cang Chai district and 9.6% in Van Chan district. Home births remain prevalent, with 63.1% occurring in Mu Cang Chai and 13.5% in Van Chan.

UNICEF has funded an emergency support project valued at 1 million USD for Yen Bai Province to address the damage caused by Typhoon No. 3, specifically targeting the needs of children and women.
In recent years, the Provincial Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF) and Search and Rescue (SAR) Department, the Provincial Police, has timely and effectively implemented FPFF and SAR tasks, contributing to ensuring public order and security, preventing, and minimizing fires and explosions across the province.
