Yen Bai provides medical examination and treatment for over 233,000 patients

YBO - In the first two months of 2025, medical facilities in the province provided examination and treatment for 233,366 patients.

In the first two months of 2025, medical facilities in the province provided examination and treatment for 233,366 patients, a decrease of 5.2% compared to the same period in 2024. Among them, the number of inpatients exceeded 24,000, down 5.6% compared to the same period; the number of outpatients reached 53,356, down 6.2% compared to the same period; the average inpatient treatment duration was 5.5 days, and the bed occupancy rate reached 79.7% of the planned capacity.

Additionally, medical facilities across the province effectively combined traditional medicine with modern medicine, with a total of 43,157 visits for treatment. The proportion of traditional medicine examinations compared to the total number of medical visits was 19.1%, an increase of 1.1% compared to the same period in 2024.
