First Vietnamese market says no to plastic bags

Nhon Market in northern Bac Ninh Province is the country's first market to say no to plastic bags, encouraging customers to bring their own baskets.
Trees have been planted around the Yen Bai College of Pedagogy as part of the school’s campaign to build a green, clean and safe environment.
The People’s Committee and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Yen Bai province on March 28 organised a ceremony to launch the campaign “All people do exercises following the example of great Uncle Ho” during 2021-2030 and the Olympic Day Run for Public Health in 2021.
The northern province of Yen Bai detected 1,113 cases of illegal immigration in 2015-2020, with 1,796 violators, most of them ethnic people of Mong, Dao, Tay, Cao Lan and Thai, among others.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Yen Bai province launched the Youth Month 2021 at a recent ceremony held in Hang Xe village, Xa Ho commune of Tram Tau district.
