Van Yen district to hold beauty contest in October

YBO - Van Yen district of Yen Bai will organise a beauty contest themed “Cinnamon land’s beauty” from October, according to the organising board of the fourth Van Yen Cinnamon Festival.

Eligible contestants must reside in Van Yen or Van Yen residents studying or working outside the district.

Ten outstanding candidates who pass the first round, which include a direct interview, will enter the final round.

The final round will include introduction, Ao Dai (traditional long dress) performance, and a self-selected costume performance. Top five beauties will be selected for a question-and-answer section.

The contest will start from October 1.
