Yen Bai holds training session on teaching of Nom Dao script

YBO - The Association for Learning Promotion of Yen Bai and the management board of a project to compile documents and a teaching programme serving the teaching and learning of the Nom Dao script of Dao ethnic group in Yen Bai have jointly held a conference to discuss the design of the documents and provide training for teachers on the contents of the documents.

The event drew teachers of Nom Dao script from Minh An commune of Van Chan district, Dai Son commune of Van Yen district, Kien Thanh commune of Tran Yen district, Tan Huong commune in Yen Binh district, and Khai Trung commune in Luc Yen district.

The project aims to develop the human resources for teaching of Nom Dao script, serving the transcript of the ancient script and translation into the Dao language, meeting the cultural demands of Dao people in Yen Bai, facilitating the community’s integration into the rest of the country and the world.
