Yen Bai’s labourers make achievements to celebrate general elections

YBO - These days, the enthusiasm has seen in factories, workshops, construction sites and fields in Yen Bai province as local labourers are striving to make outstanding achievements to celebrate the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA) and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Ha Dinh Hai, a technician in Yen Binh brick factory, said because the factory has just been put into operation, its current capacity is only 70,000 bricks per day. To meet the market demand, the factory’s employees have registered to work overtime.

Despite having to ensure the dual goal of COVID-19 containment and economic recovery, the company has arranged suitable time for its employees to learn about the election law, and built plans for them to both participate in the voting and meet production requirements.

Vina KNF International Co., Ltd in Tran Yen district’s Co Phuc town secured orders for the whole year. Along with implementing measures to respond to the pandemic, the company has organised three consecutive shifts for its workers in order to ensure provision of goods to its partners on schedule.

In parallel with well-prepared production plans, the company arranged suitable time for 100 percent of its employees to go to the polls on May 23.

In the southern industrial park of Yen Bai city, workers from 27 factories and production facilities were working hard to make achievements celebrating the elections.

Along with disseminating information about the elections, the provincial management board of industrial parks launched a production emulation movement to celebrate the political event. It also required businesses to arrange plans for workers to have time to exercise their citizen rights without affecting production and business activities.

The anti-flood dike project in Gioi Phien commune, Yen Bai city, has a total length of 4.25 km. It is implemented with a total investment of 472 billion VND, including many items such as roads, drainage ditches, protection embankment and ancillary works.

These days, the production and working atmosphere at key construction sites of Yen Bai province such as Suoi Thia embankment, Tram Tau - Bac Yen road, and a road connecting National Highway 32 with Tram Tau district was bustling to welcome the great festival of the entire people.
