Yen Bai: Candidates in coming elections meet with voters

YBO - Candidates in the upcoming election of deputies to the 15th parliament and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure in Yen Bai province have joined meetings with voters in the recent past.

Ten candidates vying for seats in the 15th National Assembly (NA) of two constituencies and 98 others for seats in the People’s Councils at provincial, district and communal levels, briefed constituents on their action plans.


Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Ta Van Long discusses preparations for the election day with candidates vying for seats at the provincial People’s Council. 

The plans showed the candidates’ wishes to contribute to sustainable socio-economic development of the country and the province, in tandem with ensuring defence and security.

The candidates also pledged to uphold the role as a representative of the people; place the people’s interests above all; spare no efforts to build an administration of integrity of the people, by the people and for the people; and promote democracy and the power of the national great unity bloc, and reinforce the people’s trust in the Party and State.  

They promised to pay heed to handling voters’ requests on social welfare toward the ultimate goal of the people’s happiness and wellness.

Voters highly valued the action plans of the candidates and voiced their hope that the elected will fulfil their role and responsibilities, as well as efficiently carry out their own action plans, becoming a bridge between the people and the NA and the People’s Council at all levels.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan personally presented support and gifts to workers facing hardships across Yen Bai Province.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
