Yen Bai People’s Council adopts 25 important resolutions

YBO - The 10th session of the 19th People Council of Yen Bai province for the 2021-2026 tenure has wrapped up with the adoption of 25 important resolutions.

According to Chairman of the council Ta Van Long, 2023 is defined as a year for Yen Bai to speed up and create the foundation for the completion of its five-year plan for the 2021-2025 period.

He asked the provincial People’s Committee and agencies at all levels, localities and sectors, especially their leaders, to follow directions from the provincial Party Committee, giving highest priority to the comprehensive, flexible and creative implementation of solutions in the new situation, with an aim to successfully achieve all targets for 2023.

The 25 approved resolutions form an important legal framework for the provincial People’s Committee to direct the administrations at all levels and all sectors to implement their socio-economic development tasks.

They include a resolution on the socio-economic development plan for 2023; a resolution assigning the provincial People’s Committee to make decisions on the investment policy and the adjustment of investment policy for projects in Group C using local budget; and another on the approval of investment policy and the amendment of investment policy for Group B projects using State budget in Yen Bai.

Alongside, there is one resolution approving the specific prices of public irrigation products and services in Yen Bai province in 2022, along with a resolution on adjusting the planning of three forest types in the province in the period of 2011-2020; those on policies to implement digital transformation tasks in Yen Bai province in the period of 2022 - 2025 and on approving the regulations on management of urban architecture in Yen Bai city.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Huy Tuan personally presented support and gifts to workers facing hardships across Yen Bai Province.

Luc Yen District presents the provincial decision recognizing Dong Quan Commune as meeting NTM standards for 2024.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
