PM approves result of election of Yen Bai provincial People’s Committee Chairman

YBO - The Prime Minister has approved the result of the election of Tran Huy Tuan, Vice Secretary of the Yen Bai provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure, to the chairmanship of the provincial People’s Committee for 2016-2021.

Tran Huy Tuan, born in August 28, 1974, is a native of Hoang Thang commune in Yen Bai’s Van Yen district.

He used to serve as head of the Yen Bai management board for irrigation investment and construction projects, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief of the Office of the provincial People’s Committee, Secretary of the Van Yen district Party Committee, and head of the provincial Party Committee’s organisation board.

In Decision 1557/QD-TTg, the PM approved the removal of Do Duc Duy from the chairmanship of the provincial People’s Committee for 2016-2021 so that Duy will assume a new position.

In Decision 1564/QD-TTg, the PM approved the result of the election of Nguyen The Phuoc, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Secretary of the Tran Yen district Party Committee, to the post of Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee for 2016-2021.

In Decision 1560/QD-TTg, 1561/QD-TTg and 1562/QD-TTg, the Government leader approved the relief of Nguyen Van Khanh, Duong Van Tien and Ta Van Long from the post of vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee for 2016-2021. Khanh and Tien are about to retire soon while Long is set to take on a new position in the time ahead.
