Six troupe join Muong Lo culture – tourism festival

A carnival gathering 300 performers from 14 communes and wards in Nghia Lo town is scheduled for October 8 – 13 as the curtain raiser of the 2020 Muong Lo Culture – Tourism Festival.

The street parade consists of six troupes. Each has a well-decorated model-carrying car going first, followed by 50 artists who walk, dance and play musical instruments from different ethnic groups like H’Mong, Kinh, Muong, Thai, and Tay.

The procession travels 3km from the local Agribank office intersection to the Nghia Lo stadium.

The training of troupes participating in the carnival began on September 27, with their last rehearsal taking place on October 15, two days ahead of the opening of the 2020 Muong Lo Culture – Tourism Festival.
