Yen Bai Power Company launches “Families save electricity” programme

YBO - To encourage the practice of power saving for the sake of the community, the Yen Bai Power Company and the People’s Committee of Nghia Lo town have launched the “Families save electricity” programme 2022.

The programme aims to raise public awareness of efficient energy use and environmental protection, thereby helping form an electricity saving movement among the people of all social strata and age groups, mitigate climate change impacts, and boost green and sustainable development.

It will be implemented among some 5,600 households in four wards of Nghia Lo town from July to September this year. Prizes worth more than 80 million VND (3,400 USD) in total will be presented to the outstanding families in the programme.

These cultural assets have positioned Muong Lo – Nghia Lo as a sought-after destination for both domestic and international travelers, contributing to its growing prominence on the tourism map of Yen Bai province.
