To date, provincial authorities have issued two certificates of eligibility for fertilizer trading and eight certificates of eligibility for pesticide trading. Across the province, there are currently 222 crop seed trading establishments, 457 pesticide trading facilities, 509 fertilizer trading establishments, and seven fertilizer production facilities.

For the 2024–2025 Winter-Spring crop, enterprises and suppliers both within and outside the province have delivered approximately 840 tonnes of rice seeds, 600 tonnes of maize seeds, 28 tonnes of pesticides, and 55,000 tonnes of various types of fertilizers. These inputs met quality standards and supported the province in achieving its production targets.

These positive results are attributed to the establishment of inspection teams by specialized agencies and functional forces in the province. Inspection results show that all reviewed facilities meet the required conditions for trading fertilizers and pesticides.

The Provincial Crop and Livestock Seed Center has cultivated 32 hectares of seed production area (including 18 ha at Dong Cuong Farm, 8 ha at Nghia Van Farm, and 6 ha in Dai Phac Commune) with varieties such as Seng Cu, Te Ken, and NTS01. The expected yield is 4–4.5 tonnes/ha, with a total output of 125–130 tonnes. For the 2024–2025 Winter-Spring crop, the center has supplied over 40 tonnes of quality seeds, including varieties such as Seng Cu, Chiem Huong, and NH36. Additionally, the center has conducted varietal trials on 14 rice varieties—8 inbred and 6 hybrid.

In the coming period, the province’s specialized departments will intensify inspections of crop seed, fertilizer, and pesticide trading activities to prevent price manipulation and the circulation of substandard products that could negatively impact agricultural production.
