Yen Bai firms seek partnership with foreign enterprises

YBO - Businesses in Yen Bai province recently had a chance to connect with 20 foreign enterprises and importers so as to share information about the products holding export potential such as tea, electroceramics, stone powder, and cinnamon.

The online business-matching conference was organised by the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the Department for Asian-African Markets at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Vietnam’s trade offices in Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, Pakistan, and Malaysia.

At the event, representatives of Vietnam’s overseas trade offices provided information about the potential of exporting the products Yen Bai is strong at like cinnamon powder, tea, cassava starch, stone powder, and electroceramics to Asian and African markets. They also updated participants on foreign consumers’ taste and demand, tax and customs regulations, and measures for removing barriers to access those markets.

Luc Yen District has recently have two additional communes, Dong Quan and Khanh Hoa, officially recognized by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for new rural standards (Nông Thôn Mới - NTM) in 2024.
