Yen Bai honours winners of provincial startup idea competition

YBO - Yen Bai’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union partnered with the provincial Department of Education and Training, Department of Science and Technology, and the association of young entrepreneurs to host the final round of the first startup idea competition for local students on August 20.

Launched in March, the competition received 853 entries from students across the province. Among them, the 10 most outstanding ideas and projects were selected for the finale, six of which have produced real products.

During the finale, ten students and groups of student gave presentations about the necessity and feasibility of products and services created by their ideas and projects to customers and the entire society. 

They also spoke about expected revenue and the distinctive values their products and services will bring to customers compared to the others on the market. Later, they answered questions from the judges.

The first prize went to the project on production of milk made from germinated corn seeds by two eleventh graders - Nguyen Anh Kiet and Do Vu Duy Anh - from Tran Nhat Duat High School in Yen Binh district.
