Yen Bai issues action plan for digital transformation

YBO - The People’s Committee of Yen Bai province has issued an action plan to implement Resolution 51-NQ/TU released on July 22, 2021 by the provincial Party Committee on digital transformation in the 2021-2025 period with orientations to 2030.

The main objectives include developing e-government in 2025, heading to the building of digital government, enhancing the operational efficiency; promoting digital economy, improving competitiveness of its economy; boosting the growth of digital society and narrowing down digital gaps.

By 2030, the province expects to successfully develop digital government and digital economy, enhancing its economic competitiveness, boosting the growth of digital society and narrowing down digital gaps.

The major tasks and solutions given in the scheme include strengthening the leadership and directions of the governments at all levels, increasing communications to raise public awareness of digital transformation, building and implementing mechanisms and policies to speed up digital transformation.

At the same time, the province will enhance human resources training and development, while building, applying and developing infrastructure and platforms serving digital transformation, developing digital government, digital economy and digital society, and ensuring cyber security and safety.

The prioritised areas for digital transformation include health care, education, agriculture, planning, finance, banking, transportation and logistics, and natural resources and environment./.
